In a beautiful blend of tradition and elegance, Sanjana from Chennai and Viresh from Hyderabad tied the knot at the prestigious RK Convention Centre in Chennai. The entire family traveled from Hyderabad to be a part of this joyous occasion, and the pre-wedding festivities took place at the luxurious Sheraton Grand.
A Grand Arrival
The groom’s arrival was nothing short of spectacular, with a decorated Mercedes, a band of dhol players, and a lively baarat procession
A Wedding of Epic Proportions
With over 2000 guests in attendance, this was one of the biggest weddings RK Convention Centre has ever seen. The venue was transformed into a vibrant and colorful space, reflecting the couple’s love for traditional Telugu culture.
A Venue Transformed
Sanjana had a clear vision for her special day, and the team worked tirelessly to bring it to life. The venue was covered on all sides with stunning pichwai painting prints, and the carpeted floor added a touch of luxury. The color palette of red, orange, and white was used extensively throughout the decor, creating a cohesive and breathtakingly beautiful atmosphere.
A Stage Fit for Royalty
The stage was a masterpiece, with full trussing and boxes of hangings. A stunning red floral wall served as the backdrop for the Balaji and Thaayar, and the traditional statues were replaced with beautiful paintings, adding an artistic touch. Chivari chairs and lovely little floral ponds outside the stage added to the elegance of the setting.
A Venue Centrepiece Like No Other
A huge installation in the middle of the venue served as the pièce de résistance with over 25 – 30 brass props, brass nandi, ganesa statues, urulis and tuberose flowers , drawing the eye and captivating the senses. The entrance tunnel was equally impressive, with apple draping, chandeliers, and 100 plantain trees creating a dramatic and memorable entrance. A pick-a-flower corner and a lovely standing brass Ganesha statue added to the charm
